SEASON 23/24 JUNIOR SKILLS, DRILLS & TEAM SELECTION EVENT

Northern Spirit Basketball Club invite all returning and new members to the Season 2023/24 Junior Skills, Drills and Team Selection event.

All players are requested to come along and show their skills and abilities and enjoy some time on the court with their teammates prior to becoming a Northern Spirit Basketball Club junior member this season.

Please ensure you arrive ON TIME to your session to allow for registration purposes.

All players are to bring along a water bottle and a basketball with name clearly marked (if possible).

ALL PLAYERS MUST PRE REGISTER TO SECURE YOUR SPOT FOR THIS SEASON.

This will also be an opportunity for members and their families to receive Season 2023/24 information in additon to the below.

• Northern Spirit Club Skills, Drills and Team Selections: Saturday August 12th 2023
• Club Team Nominations due to KBA: September 8th 2023
• Northern Spirit Basketball Club Season Launch and Team announcements: Sunday 17th September 2023
• Season Training Commences: Monday 9th October 2023
• Season Commences: Saturday October 14th 2023
• Junior Club Fundraiser – Shoot-a-thon: Saturday 11th November 2023 
• Mid Season Christmas Gathering: Saturday December 9th 2023 
• Karratha Basketball Association Grand Final Day: March 21st & 22nd 2024  

Player Costs for Season 23/24

• Karratha Basketball Association Player Fee: $150 per player (TBC)
• Basketball WA Player Insurance Fee $41.75
• Northern Spirit Basketball Junior Club Membership Fee: $35 
• Club Playing shorts (if required) $40
• Mouthguards are compulsory 

Game Day

Junior matches will be played on Saturdays from 8:00am - 4:00pm.

Training Days

Training and times are yet to be confirmed. It is anticipated that the club will once again have an allocated training day for all teams (Monday), which will be communicated closer to season commencement. Please be aware that this is factored into your Club Playing Membership fee for the season.
